Our Founder
Wanellé Music is the realization of a long-held vision by its founder, Selna Winfrey Begisen Museku. She is an Ex-PwC professional and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a Post-Graduate Advance Diploma in International Trade Policy and Trade Law. Her journey demonstrates that a rigorous professional career and a profound commitment to the arts can successfully coexist.
She has always loved classical music and began her musical journey with the piano, later exploring the guitar, cello, and violin. She is an accomplished composer, creating several original choral pieces including one sang on a choral competition on the television show The Ultimate Choir on KBC and the impactful jingle for Abled Differently, a TV program supporting equality for disabled communities. Dedicated to nurturing young talent, she has taught girls' choirs for the Kenya National Music Festivals and worked as a music assistant tutor at Sonata Music School.
This dedication is rooted in a strong musical heritage. She follows in the footsteps of her father, a published composer and Director of the Interchurches Choir Annual Festival, whose work was recently featured at the prestigious 2025 American Choral Directors Association Conference in Dallas, Texas.
To the founder, music is more than an art form; it is described as healing, peaceful, and a powerful medium for connection. Wanellé Music was born from this deep belief. It is inspired by a desire to serve the community, a desire to create a small, intimate, and meaningful hub where children, young adults, and the wider community can share in this knowledge, grow in artistry, and experience the unique power of music.
